Tyler Rich Releases "Gets Me Every Time" Ahead of Upcoming Album "Hello California"
Tyler Rich, the country singer-songwriter hailing from Yuba City, California, has unveiled his latest single "Gets Me Every Time," released on February 7, 2025. This compelling track is set to feature on his highly anticipated sophomore album "Hello California," scheduled for release on March 7, 2025, via ONErpm.
"Gets Me Every Time" showcases Rich's evolution as an artist, blending his signature country storytelling with rock influences. The song, co-written by Rich along with Jason Massey and Travis Wood, reflects on the small moments and details in a relationship that consistently evoke strong emotions.
Rich's musical journey began in his hometown, where he was exposed to a diverse range of genres. Growing up, he listened to country music with his mother and rock 'n' roll with his father. His uncle Tim played a significant role in shaping his musical tastes, introducing him to artists like Tom Petty, Creedence Clearwater Revival, George Strait, and Garth Brooks.
At the age of 13, Rich received his first guitar as a Christmas gift from his grandparents, marking the beginning of his musical career. After graduating from California State University, Sacramento with a degree in Economics, Rich decided to pursue music full-time.
In addition to "Gets Me Every Time," Rich has been consistently releasing new music. His recent singles include "All The Small Things" and "Give Up To Get It," both of which will also feature on the "Hello California" album. "Give Up To Get It," released on January 10, 2025, explores the sacrifices made when pursuing ambitious dreams, resonating with anyone working away from home.
Rich's debut album, "Two Thousand Miles," released in 2020, garnered significant success, amassing nearly half a billion global streams and producing three No. 1 hits on SiriusXM's The Highway. His GOLD-certified single "The Difference" helped establish him as a rising star in the country music scene.
The upcoming "Hello California" album represents a new chapter in Rich's career. As an independent artist, he now has the freedom to create music without constraints. The album, produced by fellow Californians Brad Hill and Lalo Guzman, promises to deliver a sound that has made Rich a fan favorite.
Rich's dedication to his craft extends beyond music. Through his initiative "Rich Rescues," he visits local animal shelters while on tour to raise awareness for pet adoption. This commitment to animals showcases the empathetic spirit that permeates his music and connects him with his audience on a deeper level.
