Tyler Farr Releases New Single "Coming to a Bar Near You"
Tyler Farr, the country-rocker known for his powerful vocals and gritty storytelling, has released his latest single "Coming to a Bar Near You" on February 21, 2025, through Droptine Records. This new track showcases Farr's signature blend of Southern rock influences and deep country roots, continuing the narrative style that made his previous hit "A Guy Walks Into a Bar" so successful.
The song paints a vivid picture of the familiar barstool escape, where good friends, strong drinks, and neon lights provide the perfect setting to evade one's worries. Farr's emotionally charged vocals and down-to-earth lyrics create an invocative storytelling experience, allowing listeners to connect with the sentiments of seeking solace in local watering holes.
The artist's journey in country music began after he moved to Nashville, where he initially worked as a bouncer at the legendary Tootsie's Orchid Lounge before convincing management to let him perform. Farr's breakthrough came with his 2013 debut album "Redneck Crazy," which landed at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200.
Throughout his career, Farr has achieved three No. 1 songs: "Redneck Crazy," "Whiskey in My Water," and "A Guy Walks Into a Bar". His success led him to become the first artist signed to Jason Aldean's Night Train Records/BBR Music Group.
In addition to "Coming to a Bar Near You," Farr has been actively releasing new music. In 2023, he collaborated with Jelly Roll on the track "Country As Shit," which Taste of Country described as "a summer-ready ode to windows-down, mud-crusted, beer-soaked fun in the country". This was followed by the release of his EP "Rednecks Like Me" in July 2024.
