Turnpike Troubadours Release Live EP "Pay No Rent (Live AF Version)"
Turnpike Troubadours released their "Live AF Session" with Western AF on December 13, 2024, featuring four live tracks including "Pay No Rent." The 17-minute live performance EP is the result of a two-year collaboration that began at Cain's Ballroom in early 2022 and continued at Under the Big Sky festival in Montana.
This release comes after a successful year for the band, which included appearances on Taylor Sheridan's shows like Yellowstone and Landman. The band performed a three-song set in the penultimate episode of Yellowstone, featuring the same tracks from the Live AF Session.
Turnpike Troubadours, originally from Tahlequah, Oklahoma, comprises Evan Felker (vocals, guitar), Kyle Nix (fiddle), Ryan Engleman (electric guitar), RC Edwards (bass), Gabe Pearson (drums), and Hank Early (steel, accordion). The band has accumulated over 1.5 billion global streams and 1.28 million equivalent units sold.
The band is set to continue touring in 2025, including four sold-out co-headline shows with Cross Canadian Ragweed at Boone Pickens Stadium in April.
The Live AF Session is available on all streaming platforms, offering fans a raw, authentic live performance that showcases the band's exceptional musicianship.
