The Kentucky Gentlemen Release Feel-Good Track "Country Hymn"
The Kentucky Gentlemen, comprising twin brothers Brandon and Derek Campbell, have launched into 2025 with their new single "Country Hymn" on January 17, 2025. This release coincides with an exciting milestone in their career - the duo has just signed with Nashville-based record label River House Artists.
"Country Hymn," co-written with David "Messy" Mescon, who has worked with artists like Megan Moroney and Reyna Roberts, is described as a feel-good country anthem that invites listeners to embrace their true selves.
Prior to "Country Hymn," The Kentucky Gentlemen had been making waves in the country music scene with singles like "Leave Right Now," "Neon Cowboy," and "Beg Your Parton". Their 2022 debut EP, "The Kentucky Gentlemen: Vol. 1," received widespread praise. The duo's talent and hard work have not gone unnoticed, being named one of GLAAD's "New Voices in Country Music" and earning spots on numerous "Artists to Watch" lists from outlets like NPR and Nashville's Country Music Almanac.
The Kentucky Gentlemen's journey in country music began in their hometown of Versailles, Kentucky. Born and raised in this small town, Brandon and Derek have been nearly inseparable since birth, getting their first public singing experience in a church choir. Their sound is a unique mix of country, R&B, and pop influences, which Billboard has referred to as a "potent blend".
The duo's music often emphasizes the importance of authenticity and creating joy. In their own words, "We didn't choose country music, country music chose us".
As they continue to make their mark on the country music scene, The Kentucky Gentlemen are set to release a full album later in 2025, as hinted by River House Founder Lynn Oliver-Cline. With their unique sound, compelling storytelling, and commitment to authenticity, The Kentucky Gentlemen are poised to make a significant impact on the country music landscape in 2025 and beyond.
