The Castellows Drop Highly Anticipated New Track "Alabama Stone"

The Castellows, a family trio consisting of sisters Ellie (lead guitar), Powell (banjo), and Lily (vocals), have released their latest track "Alabama Stone," after teasing the new song on TikTok, showcasing their signature three-part harmonies. The group has been steadily building momentum since their summer 2024 release "Sober Sundays," a collaboration with Wyatt Flores.

The sisters, who grew up on a farm in Georgetown, Georgia, began their musical journey singing in church and performing local gigs during their middle and high school years. Their rise to prominence accelerated when they started posting acoustic covers on TikTok, leading to a record deal with Warner Music Nashville.

Their debut EP "A Little Goes A Long Way," released on February 9, 2024, features seven tracks including six original compositions and a cover of Levon Helm's 1980 classic "Hurricane." The EP showcases their ability to blend traditional country with modern elements, drawing inspiration from artists like Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, and harmony-rich groups such as Alabama and Shenandoah.

The Castellows have quickly garnered industry attention, earning spots on multiple 2024 watch lists including CMT Next Women of Country, CMT 'Listen Up,' Pandora, and Country Now. They received a nomination for CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year at the 2024 CMT Music Awards and were named a SiriusXM "Highway Find" artist for The Highway (Ch. 56).
