Max McNown Releases "Hey There Delilah" As Part Of "Covers" Single

Max McNown has released a cover of the iconic song "Hey There Delilah" in December, 2024, as part of his "Covers" single. The track, originally performed by Plain White T's, maintains its themes of long-distance love, hope, and the promise of a future together.

"Hey There Delilah" joins other songs from the 3-track single, including "The Heart of Life," a John Mayer release, and "I Can Still Make Cheyanne (featuring Grace Tyler)," originally from George Strait.

Max McNown is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter originally from Oregon. At 23 years old, he has quickly made a name for himself in the country and folk music scene. McNown's upcoming album, titled "Night Diving," is set to be released on January 24, 2025, via Fugitive Recordings x The Orchard. This album follows his critically-acclaimed debut album "Wandering" and is produced by Jamie Kenney, known for his work with artists like Colbie Caillat and Laci Kaye Booth.

In 2024, McNown has been active in releasing new music. In November, he released a single titled "Better Me For You (Brown Eyes)," described as introspective and offering a personal reflection on rising to the occasion for a once-in-a-lifetime love.

Another notable release in 2024 is "Roses and Wolves," a collaboration with country singer Hailey Whitters. This single, released earlier in December, is described as a beautiful meditation on heartbreak. McNown stated about the song, "The privilege of hindsight helps us accept that relationships don't always last forever. 'Roses and Wolves' is written from a place of comfort in the realization that the world will keep spinning and heartbreak is part of life."
