Maddie & Tae Release "Drunk Girls in Bathrooms" as Lead Single From Upcoming Album "Love & Light"

Maddie & Tae have released their latest single, "Drunk Girls in Bathrooms", showcasing their signature blend of humor and heart as part of their upcoming fourth studio album "Love & Light." The track, which dropped on March 21, 2025, celebrates the unique bonds and spontaneous sisterhood that emerge among women in restroom encounters during nights out.

"Love & Light," set for release on May 2, 2025, via Mercury Nashville, will be Maddie & Tae's fourth studio album. The 16-track collection includes previously released singles such as "Heart They Didn't Break," "Kissing Cowboys," "Sad Girl Summer," and "Free Like."

Under the production expertise of Josh Kerr at UMG Recordings, Inc., the song brings to life the genuine moments of connection and support shared between strangers. Written collaboratively by Maddie Font, Taylor Kerr, Ryan Beaver, and Jamie Moore, the track perfectly captures those fleeting yet meaningful interactions where compliments flow freely and instant friendships form. The duo's vision suggests that the world would be a kinder place if everyone showed the same level of unconditional support found in these chance encounters.

The release comes paired with an official music video that reinforces the song's empowering message. Maddie & Tae have embraced social media promotion, sharing their "groovy new track" across platforms, including TikTok, where fans have already begun embracing its relatable message.

Supporting their new music, the duo will embark on their "Love & Light Tour" beginning April 10, 2025, at Irving Plaza in New York City. The extensive tour schedule includes performances in major markets such as Chicago, Nashville, Denver, and Los Angeles, culminating in a final show at the New York State Fair in Syracuse.

The duo's momentum in country music continues to build, following successful ventures including their collaboration with Andy Grammer on "I Do" and their chart-topping hit "Die From A Broken Heart." As they prepare to launch their new album and tour, Maddie & Tae remain at the forefront of country music innovation, delivering their distinctive storytelling to audiences nationwide.
