Lance and Lea Journey Through Their "Memory Book"

Lance and Lea released their new single "Memory Book" on December 13, 2024, through their independent label. This release adds to their growing discography, which showcases their unique blend of country, rock, and blues influences, and follows previous singles released this year including "Dirty Old Blues" and "Just Look At Me Now."
The duo, consisting of Lance Kotara and LeAnna Kaufman, met at a Country Radio Seminar in Nashville about 11 years ago, where their shared passion for songwriting sparked their musical and personal partnership. Lea grew up singing gospel and country music in church with her sisters, while Lance honed his skills playing in rock bands in the Texas club scene.
Lance and Lea have been prolific songwriters, having penned over 1,000 songs together. Their music often features storytelling lyrics, soothing harmonies, and a blend of country and rock influences, which has garnered industry recognition. They won "New Artist of the Year" at the 2019 iHeart Radio Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards, and their album "There Goes My Heart" was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2020 iHeart Radio RMCMA's.
The duo has been touring extensively, covering over 100,000 miles across the United States. They've performed at notable venues and events, including the Oregon Jamboree and the Levitt AMP Concert Series. Their commitment to live performances and connecting with fans has been a significant part of their musical journey.
