Kasey Tyndall Releases New Single "Crystal Methodist" Ahead of Sophomore Album

Kasey Tyndall, a rising country-rock artist from North Carolina, has released her new single "Crystal Methodist" on January 24, 2025, as the lead single for her upcoming self-titled sophomore album. The album, set to be released on February 28, 2025, marks Tyndall's first major label release with MNRK Music.
"Crystal Methodist" is a high-energy, sardonically witty song that taps into the familiar country music theme of hometowns and their impact on personal identity. The track showcases Tyndall's signature sound, which blends country and rock influences, reflecting her diverse musical background.
Tyndall's journey in music began in her home state of North Carolina, where she initially pursued a nursing degree at East Carolina University while working three jobs and playing music on the side. Her big break came in 2014 when she won a radio contest to sing onstage with Keith Urban, which prompted her to drop out of college and move to Nashville to pursue music full-time.
Since then, Tyndall has been making waves in the country music scene. She was named to the 2023 class of CMT's Next Women of Country and made her Grand Ole Opry debut on July 19, 2023. Her musical style is often described as a hook-heavy convergence of rock & roll and country, drawing inspiration from artists like Miranda Lambert, Joan Jett, and Brantley Gilbert.
Tyndall's previous releases include songs like "Everything is Texas," which was featured on Spotify's Wild Country playlist and became a top 10 video on CMT. She has also co-written with established artists such as Ashley McBryde and Lainey Wilson, demonstrating her songwriting prowess.
The upcoming self-titled album is described as a fearlessly personal body of work, revealing Tyndall as a one-of-a-kind songwriter of extraordinary depth. It follows her 2017 debut album "Between Salvation and Survival" and represents a new era in her career.
