Kameron Marlowe Releases Emotionally Charged Track "Hello Whiskey"

Kameron Marlowe, the rising country music star from Kannapolis, North Carolina, has kicked off 2025 with the release of his latest single "Hello Whiskey" on January 10th. This emotionally charged ballad, written by Marlowe in collaboration with Kendell Marvel and Phil O'Donnell, explores the themes of heartbreak and the struggle to move on from a past relationship.

"Hello Whiskey" is the lead single from Marlowe's upcoming concept album "Sad Songs For The Soul," set to be released on February 21st, 2025, through Sony Music Nashville. The album, produced by Ben West, will feature 10 tracks designed to create a cathartic experience for listeners as it delves into the complexities of heartbreak at various stages of life.

Marlowe's breakthrough came in 2018 when he appeared as a contestant on season 15 of NBC's "The Voice". Although he didn't win the competition, the exposure led him to pursue a career in Nashville. In 2019, he independently released his debut single "Giving You Up," which became a viral hit and has since been certified Gold by the RIAA.

Following the success of "Giving You Up," Marlowe signed with Sony Music Nashville's Columbia Nashville imprint in June 2020. He released his debut full-length album "We Were Cowboys" in August 2022, which peaked at number 22 on the US Country chart. The album included the Gold-certified tracks "Burn 'Em All" and "Girl On Fire".

Marlowe's sound is characterized by his distinctive soulful and resonant vocals, blending traditional country storytelling with modern sensibilities. His musical influences range from '70s and '80s country to artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Ray Charles, and Kings of Leon.

As Marlowe prepares for the release of "Sad Songs For The Soul," he admits to pushing his artistic boundaries. "I wanted to push the boundaries a little and put out an unexpected, soulful, stripped project full of heartbreak at all stages in life," Marlowe shared. The album will include tracks co-written with notable artists such as Vince Gill and Laci Kaye Booth.

In addition to his new music, Marlowe will be joining Parker McCollum as a supporting act on the "What Kinda Man Tour 2025," which kicks off on January 23rd in Athens, GA. He will also embark on his own "Keepin' The Lights On Tour," starting March 7th in Charles Town, WV.
