Jon Pardi Releases "Love The Lights Out" Ahead of Upcoming Album "Honkytonk Hollywood"
Jon Pardi, the American country music singer-songwriter born on May 20, 1985, in Dixon, California, has unveiled his latest single, "Love The Lights Out," from his forthcoming studio album "Honkytonk Hollywood". Released on February 14, 2025, the track delivers a captivating blend of steamy soul-rock, featuring distinctive slide guitar hooks and a pulsating rhythm.
Co-written by Pardi, Jimi Bell, and Matt Dragstrem, "Love The Lights Out" showcases Pardi's ability to craft songs that balance passion with appreciation. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of a couple's intimate night, with Pardi singing in the chorus, "Let's love the lights out/ Knock some things off the wall/ Burn the night down, down/ Till that black dress falls". Pardi describes the song as an ode to "appreciating when you've got something good and can take your time".
This new release follows the high-energy lead single "Friday Night Heartbreaker," which is currently approaching the top 30 on the country charts. Both tracks offer a preview of the 17-track album "Honkytonk Hollywood," set for release on April 11, 2025. The album, produced by renowned producer Jay Joyce, marks a new chapter in Pardi's career, blending his signature traditional country sound with modern energy.
Pardi's musical journey began in his hometown of Dixon, where he started writing songs at age 12 and formed his first band at 14. After graduating high school in 2003, he moved to Nashville to pursue his country music dreams. His dedication paid off when he signed with Capitol Nashville in 2011, leading to his debut album "Write You a Song" in 2014.
Throughout his career, Pardi has released four studio albums, with "Honkytonk Hollywood" set to be his fifth. His discography includes chart-topping hits like "Head Over Boots," "Dirt on My Boots," and "Heartache Medication". Pardi's traditional yet modern approach to country music has earned him multiple accolades, including an induction into the Grand Ole Opry on October 26, 2023.
As Pardi prepares for the release of "Honkytonk Hollywood," he's also gearing up for his Honkytonk Hollywood Tour, which kicks off on April 25 in Lubbock, Texas. This new chapter in Pardi's career promises to showcase his growth as an artist while staying true to his country roots.
