Jackson Dean Drops New Track "Still Ragin"

Jackson Dean released "Still Ragin'" on December 6, 2024, via Big Machine Records, showcasing his signature blend of country and Southern rock. The track, co-written with Luke Dick and Ryan Tyndell, features thumping country-rock production with layered vocals, intense drums, and electric guitar that captures the essence of life lived in perpetual motion.

Born Jackson Dean Nicholson in Odenton, Maryland, the 24-year-old artist left his hometown at age 18 to pursue songwriting, leading to collaborations with notable writers like Casey Beathard and Luke Dick. After signing with Big Machine Records in 2021, he quickly established himself in the country music scene.

Dean's sophomore album "On The Back Of My Dreams" was released in September 2024, earning critical acclaim and landing on several "Best Albums of 2024" lists, including Holler's "25 Best Country Music Albums of 2024" and Taste of Country's "Top 10 Country Albums of 2024". The album's lead single "Heavens to Betsy" is currently climbing through the Top 40 on country radio.

His breakthrough came with "Don't Come Lookin'," which reached number three on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and earned PLATINUM certification. The song gained additional exposure through its feature in the TV series "Yellowstone". His follow-up single "Fearless (The Echo)" reached number 11 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in 2024.

Dean has expanded his touring presence significantly, sharing stages with industry giants including Toby Keith, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, and Blake Shelton. He recently announced his first-ever headlining European Tour, demonstrating his growing international appeal.

Dean's rising status in country music has been acknowledged through numerous accolades, including selections for Pandora's Ten for 2023, Spotify's Hot Country Artists to Watch 2023, Apple Music's Country Risers, and the CMT Listen Up class of 2023. He also received a nomination for New Male Artist of the Year at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards.
