Graham Barham Drops "OIL MONEY" as Title Track From New EP
Graham Barham, a rising star in the country music scene, has released his latest track "OIL MONEY" on February 14, 2025, as part of his EP of the same name. The song showcases Barham's signature high-energy style and introduces what he calls "Club Country," a bold new sound that blends traditional country elements with contemporary influences.
"OIL MONEY" is a gritty, high-energy anthem that captures the ambition, sacrifice, and rough-edged reality of the modern oil boom. The track, produced by Will Bundy, known for his work with Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett, fuses hard-driving country-rock with anthemic hooks and a touch of modern edge. Interestingly, the song was inspired by SkyShowtime's highly anticipated TV series "Landman," starring Billy Bob Thornton and Ali Larter.
Born and raised in Oak Ridge, Louisiana, a small village with a population of just 115 people, Barham's musical journey began at a young age. He started singing in church and taught himself to play guitar by the age of 10, drawing inspiration from classic country artists like George Strait.
The "OIL MONEY" EP, released alongside the single, features eight tracks, including previously released hits like "WHISKEY WHISKEY" and "SHOOT THE LOCK". The project solidifies Barham's place as a rising force in the genre, showcasing his ability to blend classic country storytelling with contemporary sounds.
Barham's journey to Nashville at 18 years old marked a significant turning point in his career. He attended Belmont University and began creating a name for himself among the community of artists and songwriters. His talent caught the attention of industry professionals, leading to a global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and Cornman Music in May 2023.
Prior to "OIL MONEY," Barham gained recognition with his breakout single "Preachers Need People," which went viral in 2022. This success helped establish him as a promising voice in country music and paved the way for his current releases.
As Barham continues to make waves in the country music scene, he's set for a busy touring schedule. He's slated to perform at the C2C: Country to Country Festival in Europe in March, followed by select dates with Dasha in Germany. In April, he will join Dylan Scott on the road for the Country Til I Die Tour.
With his authentic storytelling, powerful vocals, and innovative blend of traditional and modern country sounds, Graham Barham is quickly becoming a notable figure in the country music landscape. His latest release, "OIL MONEY," further cements his status as an artist to watch in the coming years.
