Elandré Expands Discography with Release of New Single "The Brink"
Elandré Schwartz, known professionally as Elandré, released his new single "The Brink" on December 13, 2024. This release marks a significant milestone in Elandré's career as it is his first indie English song, following nine years of success in Afrikaans music.
"The Brink" is part of Elandré's upcoming English-language EP of the same name, set to be released on December 27, 2024. The song was produced by Dee Graaff Productions in collaboration with Elandré himself, demonstrating his involvement in the creative process beyond just vocals. The music video for "The Brink" was directed by Wikus Kriel and co-directed by Elandré, with Joanet Kriel assisting in the production.
Elandré, a South African singer and songwriter, has been making waves in the Afrikaans music scene since his debut. His previous releases include "Asseblief" in 2023, "Lieflik" and "Hand Aan Hand" in 2022, and "Rugsak" in 2021, showcasing his consistent output and growing popularity in the industry.
In addition to "The Brink," Elandré also performed a cover of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" on December 13, 2024, further showcasing his vocal range and versatility.
