Cory Marks Releases Title Track From New Album "Sorry For Nothing" with Star-Studded Collaborations

Cory Marks' third studio album "Sorry For Nothing" arrives December 6, 2024, via Better Noise Music. The album, which includes the title track "Sorry For Nothing," features several high-profile collaborations.

The album was produced by an accomplished team including Kevin Churko, Kile Odell, and Andrew Baylis. The title track "Sorry For Nothing" showcases a distinctive blend of country and rock elements, drawing comparisons to Nickelback's style but with Marks' authentic country twang, heavy drumming, and compelling guitar solos.

The album's lead single "(Make My) Country Rock" features an all-star lineup including Sully Erna of Godsmack, country legend Travis Tritt, and Mötley Crüe's Mick Mars. The track has achieved success on both US hard rock and mainstream rock charts. Another significant collaboration appears on "Guilty," featuring DL of Bad Wolves, which brings a modern rock edge to the album.

The 14-track album showcases Marks' versatility, ranging from traditional country influences to hard rock anthems. "Drunk When I'm High" introduces Caribbean percussion elements, while "1949" delivers emotional storytelling in a pure country style reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen's "I'm On Fire." The album concludes with a country-influenced cover of Foo Fighters' "Learn To Fly."

Hailing from North Bay, Ontario, Marks has established himself as a genre-blending artist who combines country music storytelling with rock's aggressive energy. When not touring or recording, he maintains his musical skills through guitar, vocal, and drum practice, while also pursuing interests in aviation. His previous success includes over 220 million global streams and recognition as International Artist of the Year at The Tasmanian Independent Country Music Awards.
