Cory Asbury Unveils New Track With Reimagining of Goo Goo Dolls Hit "Iris"

Cory Asbury, the double-platinum selling and award-winning singer/songwriter known for hits like "Reckless Love" and "The Father's House," has a new track titled "Iris," his reimagining of the original Goo Goo Dolls release.

Cory Asbury began his musical journey at age 14, singing in church, and became a full-time performer by age 21. His career launched with an internship at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City in 2005, where he collaborated with Matt Gilman before releasing his first solo album "Let Me See Your Eyes" in 2009.

Asbury's breakthrough came with "Reckless Love" in 2017, which spent 18 weeks at #1 and earned Double Platinum certification. The song garnered multiple accolades, including Billboard, ASCAP, and BMI Christian Song of the Year honors, plus a Grammy nomination in 2019.

His follow-up album "To Love A Fool" featured the Gold-certified single "The Father's House," which has accumulated more than 676,000 equivalent units. To date, Asbury has generated impressive statistics including 871.76 million domestic U.S. streams, 37.6 million video views, and over 3 million monthly Spotify listeners.
