Cooper Alan Drops New Track "Plead The Fifth"

Cooper Alan, the rising country music star, has released his latest single, "Plead The Fifth," on December 30, 2024. The track showcases Alan's signature blend of contemporary country and storytelling prowess, as a rowdy, tongue-in-cheek country anthem that follows the misadventures of a night out gone awry.

Originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Cooper Alan's journey in music began early. He started his first band in 8th grade and continued playing throughout high school and college. Alan honed his skills performing at bars, college campuses, and honky-tonks across the Carolinas, becoming known for his high-energy, all-night performances.

After graduating from university, Alan moved to Nashville to pursue his music career. There, he had the fortune of meeting renowned songwriter and producer Victoria Shaw, who signed him to a publishing deal. This partnership has since evolved, with Alan and Shaw co-founding "Cooped Up Records," their own record label.

Alan's rise to fame accelerated during the pandemic when he turned to TikTok as a platform to share his music. His creative approach to the app led to viral success, helping him build a fanbase of over 10 million followers across social media platforms. This online popularity has translated into streaming success, with his music garnering over 100 million streams.

Prior to "Plead The Fifth," Alan released several successful singles, including "New Normal," which has amassed over 17 million streams on Spotify alone. His repertoire also includes popular tracks like "Tough Ones," "Colt 45 (Country Remix)," and "Can't Dance".

As Cooper Alan continues to make waves in the country music scene, he's also taking his music on the road. He recently completed the first leg of his "In Real Life" tour, performing alongside artists Alexandra Kay and Thomas Mac.
