Chase Matthew Gears Up for Upcoming Album with New Single "DRIVES MY TRUCK"
Country artist Chase Matthew has released his new single "DRIVES MY TRUCK" on January 16, 2025, setting the stage for his highly anticipated third album, "Chase," scheduled for release on February 21, 2025.
The track is described as a "revved-up anthem" that channels the energy of '90s truck songs with a modern twist. It features roaring electric guitars, powerhouse drums, and explores the theme of losing control in a positive way when someone else takes the wheel.
Chase Matthew, born Chase Matthew McQuitty on December 20, 1997, in Sevierville, Tennessee, grew up in Nashville and began his musical journey at a young age. Matthew's career took off when country rap artist Upchurch discovered his music online and signed him to the Holler Boy label in 2021.
Matthew's debut album, "Born for This," was released in 2022, followed by his sophomore album "Come Get Your Memory" in June 2023 after signing with Warner Records Nashville in October 2022. His breakthrough single "Love You Again" charted in late 2023, reaching the Top 15 on Country radio.
The upcoming album "Chase" will feature 13 tracks, including fan favorites "Missin' Me Missin' You" and "Backroads of My Mind". Matthew has writing credits on nine of the songs, showcasing his songwriting prowess. The album also includes a special collaboration with Lauren Alaina on the track "Heart Half Empty".
Throughout his career, Matthew has amassed over 1 billion global streams, with more than 315 million streams for his RIAA Platinum-certified hit "County Line".
