Avery Anna Releases Reflective New Single "Wish You Well"
Avery Anna has released a new track, "Wish You Well", through Warner Music Nashville. Released on March 21, 2025, the song delivers a poignant exploration of post-relationship healing and the journey toward finding closure. Written by Anna in collaboration with David Fanning and Jon Hume, the track focuses on forgiveness in the aftermath of a difficult relationship.
In Anna's own words, "'Wish You Well' is about forgiveness, not forgetting, but letting someone go, and letting yourself get over the things that people did to you, to hurt you, which is something that I've had to do recently in my life". She hopes the song will help listeners with their own forgiveness journeys.
The release of "Wish You Well" follows Anna's recent rock-tinged cover of Patsy Cline's classic "Crazy," which is available exclusively on Amazon Music. Earlier this year, she also debuted "Mr. Predictable," marking her first solo release since her 2024 debut album, "Breakup Over Breakfast". This new music signals a fresh era for the young artist.
Born in Flagstaff, Arizona, the 21-year-old singer-songwriter who has quickly risen to prominence in the country music scene. Her musical journey began at a young age, singing with her grandfather who introduced her to traditional country music artists like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Merle Haggard. In July 2024, Anna released her debut album "Breakup Over Breakfast." The 17-track album features collaborations with artists like Parmalee, Dylan Marlowe, and the songwriting trio Love Junkies (Hillary Lindsey, Liz Rose, and Lori McKenna). The album represented a deeply personal project for Anna, who described the writing process as "very cathartic and very humbling".
Currently, Anna is climbing the radio charts with "Indigo," a viral duet with Sam Barber that has reached the top ten of the Hot Country Songs chart and the top fifty of the Billboard Hot 100. The pair recently performed the track on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Anna's rising profile has earned her a place in the Opry NextStage class of 2025. She recently performed at the C2C: Country to Country festival across various European cities, where critics praised her performance as "the biggest surprise of the weekend". Her upcoming tour schedule includes opening for Ian Munsick at Nashville's The Pinnacle on April 17, an appearance at the Grand Ole Opry on April 18, a return to Stagecoach festival this spring, and select dates on Luke Bryan's "Country Song Came On" Tour and Brad Paisley's "Truck Still Works" World Tour this summer.
